Privacy

Last updated: July 2026

Daithona lets people operate real robots remotely through a browser. That involves cameras, live connections and physical machines, so this page explains plainly what is collected, what is not, and who else is involved.

What we collect

Camera and microphone

When you act as a provider, your browser asks permission to use your camera and microphone. That stream is sent directly to the operator of your session using a peer to peer connection.

We do not record or store your video. Daithona has no copy of what your camera sees. The connection exists only while the session is open, and ends when you close it. Connection setup data passes through our servers; the video itself does not.

Robots and third parties

Robot commands currently travel through the Tuya cloud, a third party IoT provider, because that is the interface consumer robots expose. When you link a robot, that device becomes visible to the Daithona cloud project, including its status and telemetry such as battery level.

Tuya operates its own infrastructure and its own privacy terms, outside our control, and processes data in the region tied to your account. If that matters to you, take it into account before linking a device. Daithona is working towards local control so that this dependency can be removed.

We also use Google Firebase for sign in, database and hosting, and Cloudflare for the bridge that signs robot commands.

What is public

Your handle, roles, verification badge, points, reputation, completed tasks, resume text and any links you add are visible to other members and to visitors. Your email address is not shown publicly. Do not put anything in your resume or messages that you would not want read by others.

What we do not do

Your choices

You can clear your resume, unlink your robot, or stop using the service at any time. To request deletion of your profile and associated records, contact us through the address on the contact page.

Children

Daithona is not intended for people under 16. Operating physical machines remotely carries real world risk and requires adult judgement.
